Born in Louisville, KY, Fr. Chris first knew Dominicans at St. Louis Bertrand Church when his mother would take him and his younger sister to daily Mass during the Summer. After graduating from Bellarmine University in Louisville, Fr. Chris worked several years in the aerospace industry at West Palm Beach, FL's Pratt & Whitney Aircraft alongside jet engine engineers, writing reports of their research work. At his parish in West Palm Beach, FL, he met Fr. Joe Wyss, O.P., and the following year joined the Province of St. Martin de Porres. Growing up, his family loved to play poker, yet he now places his bets not so much on the Kentucky Derby or poker but on those who desire to form relationships with God and with neighbors in Christ's ways.
